I've had this seatbag for nearly a year. I use it almost daily and it looks brand new. It's definitely quality and holds up amazingly to daily use and abuse.

The saddlebag is weatherproof. I have ridden with it in several downpours and other very wet conditions. All of the contents remained bone dry including my cellphone. Not a drop of water made it in.

Note: Though it is weatherproof, I would not advise completely immersing it in a pool, pond or anything similar as there is a teeny-tiny, minuet gap where the two zippers meet.

A great feature of this seatbag is the sturdy rubberized bottom which comes in handy if you do not have fenders. It helps keep your underside dry and the underside of your saddle dry (especially important if you have a leather saddle).

Another cool feature is the reflective logo on the back to aid with higher visibility. It also doubles as a light clip.

Inside the lid of the seatbag there is a clasp for your keys and a little net to hold change, folded money or another small item to the lid.

The seatbag fits your essentials like cellphone, money, ID, energy bar, multi-tool, handwipes and a thin/small camera. It's a tight fit but I've managed to squeeze all of that in there without a problem.

The seatbag mounts securely to the rails of your seat and your seat post. You can snug it up so nothing in your bag rattles and it sit securely under your seat. It's easy to take off and on.

This is a quality seatbag that will last you for years even with heavy, daily use. I highly recommend it.

I had an Avenir on my recently retired Klein for almost 8 years. It lasted and held up so well, that it was a no brainer for me to buy another Avenir seat bag.

The small size is perfect for me. I don't like the athstetics of larger bags, and I also don't like the performance of them (drag and rubbing on my leg).

Inside my size small Avenir bag I have the following: 2 tubes, 2 tire lever, 2 pieces of old tires (tire patches), crank brothers mulit-5 tool, 2 12 gram c02 cart, innnovations chuck inflater, and a small swiss army knife. Not bag for a bag advertised as a "small."

If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. Please see my pictures for how it looks on a bike.

Can hold mountain bike camera and a little more space is still available.

Have had this little bag for a while now and it's great. Very handy little place to stash your keys, phone & wallet. However I must add that you need a pretty small phone & wallet as the pouch itself is pretty small, smaller than I expected. I found installing it a bit tricky, eventually I discovered that I had it upside down. If you're having trouble and the opening swings up like a minivan tailgate you have it upside down. It needs to swing downwards like the tailgate on a pickup truck. Hope that helps. Once it's on properly it's very secure and as it secures under your seat you don't even know it's there.

i was surprised on the sturdiness of the bag.. i've had previous bike saddle bags in the past and they were flimsy compared to this bag... the bag seems to be double stitched and thick nylon. fits snug right under the saddle and fits all the necessities.. i would recommend this bag.. and for the price!?? its definitely worth the buy.

Here's a short review.. Perfect size. Compact enough to be under my saddle yet provides enough room (I usually carry my credit card wallet, multi-tool, and my keys. Still enough room for a tube and more). Getting it on and off to my bike is easy and it's very secure- snug fit. My Cateye tail light is clipped to the rear. One thing to consider - I decided to go with a Velcro type rather than a fixer, thinking it would look more clean. While I think this is lighter and cleaner, consider a fixer type seat bag too if you plan to get it on and off very frequently. Nonetheless, a great seat bag. Very satisfied and would recommend!

It really, really attaches well to the bicycle seat. It's well made and most definitely can withstand rough weather. It's well made on the outside and inside. Can store cell phone (Iphone), Keys and few $ in case of emergency. It's well paded on the inside. I would definitely recommend it to others.

This review is for the Avenir Bigmouth underseat bag, size small (27 cubic inches). Although it is described as a "velcro" seat bag, it opens with a zipper and attaches to the saddle rails with buckle straps and to the seatpost with a velcro strap. I wanted something that would be inconspicuous and hold just the essentials. This bag fills those requirements, just right for ID, insurance, & credit cards, emergency $, keys, cell phone, tiny patch kit, snack. It might also be a good size to use for an emergency repair kit.

Unlike another review, I am surprised that it holds as much as it does. I am posting a picture of it with my credit card/ID/cash holder, 3 Park tire levers and tiny patch kit, key, small cell phone, and a GPS. Without the GPS, it would also hold a small digital camera or the equivalent. I don't take long rides and probably won't carry the tire levers, but I thought others might want to know if it is deep enough to hold them and zip closed, and it is.

I chose this bag over the similar Topeak wedge because I didn't like the saggy baggy look at the back of the Topeak. The Avenir bag holds its shape and is also less expensive. It has a rubberized or flexible plastic coated bottom and sides and looks like it will be weather resistant and durable. The front flap opens with a double zipper and has a small mesh pocket and a small metal key clip. The rest of the interior is just a single compartment, which tapers at the back. It can be opened without taking it off the bike. The logo is reflective and is stitched only on the ends so that a small light could be clipped to it. It is not expandable like the larger sizes are. The quality and features of this bag seem to be very good and I would recommend it if you only want a small bag. It is also available in medium and large sizes.

It took me a couple of tries to figure out the right way to attach it. Both straps should go straight up between the two saddle rails, over the tops of them, then out and down the sides (like a geyser). The longer strap goes all the way around the bottom and back up the other side to clip to the short strap very neatly and snugly. The seatpost strap simply goes around the post and fastens with velcro.

I just received it today and will update my review later if I have any problems with it. Very happy with it so far.

small but just the right size to hold my keys, id and a spare tube. It was just what I was looking for to carry on my road bike.

I bought 2 of these as Christmas presents for my kids. They are well made and able to hold a handle bar light when not in use, which is why I got it. It is small enough to not get in the way but big enough to be practical. You could easily fit in a patch kit and tire levelers along with the light. Another nice feature is the silver label on the back is reflective.
