Reasonable price but not for every bike,

This bike bag is reasonably priced and provides adequate storage for wallet, keys, and a few other items. The reason I am disappointed is because it does not fit my bike (my bike is a Trek Lime). There is a back strap that is supposed to go behind the handlebars but the strap is so loose and cannot be tightened much so it just sags and provides no support. Also, the straps did not securely fit the curvature of my bike handles that when I cinched it to the handlebars it drooped down almost to the front tire.
Therefore, I tried to use this bag by cinching it to the rail above the pedals. The fit was awkward and once I filled the pack with a cell phone and keys, it expanded and hit my legs when riding. I decided to give this to my boyfriend--he loves it because it fits his bike fine. Although this is a decent pack for a good price, the manufacturer needs to improve on the back strap so that it can be adjustable by more than a few inches. Also, buyers need to be aware that they may not be able to cinch this pack to their handlebars because of where the velcro straps are in relationship to the curvature of the handlebar.

Better than expected,

I was worried at first about getting a bag that I couldn't size or evaluate in person for several reasons. One is I have limited bar space for attachments due to the fenix flashlight and its attachment, the schwinn cyclocomputer, and the planet bike blinkie 5. I was also worried that the bag might ride up too high and obstruct my flashlights, or it would hang too low and cover the reflector. Lastly, I didn't want it too big or too small, which is everyone's concern with buying a handlebar bag. I can happily say this bag met all my expectations. It has 2 adjustable velcro straps on top that could be adjusted so the bag sits even or slightly higher than the bar, or slightly lower. It has a rear velcro strap to keep it from flapping around which can be attached around the stem or cables. It has quality 3M scotchlite reflector stripping on front even if it covers your reflector. The size is perfect for me, big enough to carry keys some snacks, cell phone, mp3 player plus speaker attachment, and more. it has a see through top that you can place a map or something in too. I'd say it measures 7 inches wide by 3 inches deep, just estimating. Shoulder strap is a nice touch. the bag can be quickly removed because the lower rear velcro strap has a quick D-link release clip. In all, this is a nice bag and I have attached photos so you can evaluate it. I feel this bag should get more attention, and I'm glad to have gotten it over the saddle/handlebar bag combos.

Fits perfectly on handle bars.
I didn't want something bulky and moving all around. This is the perfect size for keys, cell phone, lip balm, sun glasses, gum, head band and tissues (all of which I have in the bag I purchased!) Plus there is room for more stuff! GREAT bag, nice looking too!

I was sick of holding my gear in a backpack while biking and was looking for a small bag that holds everything I need to walk dogs. This bag holds a large keyring (10 or so keys) a roll of doggie bags, pen and business cards nicely. At first view I thought it would be too small but it is actually quite deep inside. It also is easy to remove and does not interfere with my cyclometer which is in the middle of my handlebars. With the velcro straps and elastic strap that goes around the head tube I really like the clear pouch and use it to put my cell phone in for easy viewing. The bag itself does not look bulky on my Women sized bike and is visually appealing. When I use the strap it just looks like a little messenger bag which is a bonus. Just what I needed and at a good price too.

This is a snap to use. Hooks right onto the handlebars is a jiffy and holds the basic items I need like a cell phone, glasses, sun cream, etc.

This is a great bag for the price. It is small, but big enough to hold my keys, chapstick, wallet, and few other odds and ends....enough to keep me from needing a backpack on daytrips. It fits snugly and doesn't seem to move around at all while biking. It also sits low enough that it does not interfere with or block my headlight.

I searched this site for some dimensions before I bought it and all it specifies is 91 cu. inches...which is a bit hard to visualize. What do people manage to put in this? It's about the size of a paperback book, so I guess you could do that, but forget about a wallet and a cellphone in addition. There's a tiny pocket on the side that seems like it might hold a leatherman tool or hex-key set, but nothing else. I had hopes for a wallet, keys, cellphone and an e-reader. Back to the backpack, I guess. This thing is very barebones.

It's a nice bag. I bought it for my son's bike. Because of its small size, it fits very well. It's like a 5"X7" photo size from the front and good for carrying wallet, cellphone and keys, etc. I was hoping it would fit a bottle of water but not quite; maybe one of those tiny 12oz bottle.

I thought it can hold a bottle of water. totally wrong. It is just good to hold a lock (mini), a map and maybe your wallet. But too small to hold a normal size bottle of water.

Adaptable and convenient,
This review is from: Avenir Mini Metro Handlebar Bag (91.5 Cubic Inches) (Sports)
I really like this bag because it is on the small side and doesn't affect your steering ability, even when it is fully loaded. It has some nice features such a a clear plastic cover on the top so you can put a map, phone, etc inside it for easy viewing. It also has a zipper pocket inside the bag for the items you don't want to lose. It also has 2 velcro straps at the top which allow a lot of flexibility when trying to mount it around other devices on your handlebars, and one more strap at the bottom of the bag which allows you to secure it around the stem of your bars or around your bike frame. Good purchase for the money!
