Great Bottles- and solution for leaking!,

These bottles were great! I used 4 oz and 9 oz Avent bottles for my daughter from birth to 12 months and they were the only kind she would take.
After a couple of months of use, however, I noticed that they were leaking between the rim and the bottle (but not necessarily the nipple). I was going crazy- a small leak has the ability to make a sleep deprived new mother go insane. After many hours of research and trial and error, I found a solution that worked for me! I usually used 1 bottle per day and just rinsed/washed it between feedings. The first time of the day there was no leak, but usually the other times it leaked. So, I learned to completely take all of the pieces apart and dry them completely each time, before reassembling the bottle and it's pieces. And for some reason, it would make the suction just right and stopped them from leaking.

Avent Bottles are great for being able to go from breast feeding to bottle feeding without any problems for the working mom. They do not allow for any air bubble to get in the tummy. Avent bottles easily convent in to sippy cups just by simply ordering the spout and handle.

Obviously feeding your child is pretty high up there on the list of baby necessities.
For the first year we have used the Dr. Brown's natural feeding bottles which in my opinion are better bottles. I state that because our daughter drinks from them easier. Not sure why, I've asked her several times and she just says "gagaaalla" so...there you go. However these bottles are definitely easier to wash, clean and sterilize as they have less parts and are easier to assemble for feeding and so forth. Our daughter never went through a colic'y time period while we were using the Dr. Brown's bottles. She's past that stage now so I can't say much about how it deals with baby colic. It has taken my daughter about 6 weeks to get used to holding them as she previously had the skinnier Dr. Brown's bottles, but she has gotten the hang of it now. In a nutshell: It's not rocket-science, these are easier to clean and do the job. They microwave fine when heating the milk and all in all one of the three must have bottle types. Best, DSW [...].

Bottles are complete garbage!,

On the box are claims of reduced colic and fussiness. THIS IS A COMPLETE JOKE! My daughter had projectile spit up after feeding her with these bottles. I switched to Playtex bottles and have had zero problems. I purchased slower flow nipples thinking that was the problem and it wasn't. The company will not stand behind their products or their claim on the box. The customer service person told me to throw away the bottles if they didn't work for me. So now I've spent 60+ dollars on bottles and nipples that will be going in the trash.
