Avenue Six Detour Storage Cube with Tray

After a lot of searching around for storage cubes, I found these by Avenue Six. They are well built and the tray top is handy for holding snacks and drinks. They make great additional seating for guests, also.

We ordered two of these cubes and the quality is even better than expected. They are very solid and there is plenty of storage space on the inside. And, the material is like a microfiber/suede and very nice looking. I am very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this to match a purple corner chair with the intention of using it as a ottoman. It turned out to be a little to large for that, but a perfect match in color for the chair so I kept it. It is a quality piece, very comfortable to sit on and plently of storage. I almost did not purchase it because it was more expensive than other cubes online but now that I have it I have to admit it is worth very penny and more.

We were shopping for a footstool with storage to add to our living room sectional. The lid can be removed and the storage lid placed upside down either on the footstool or the sectional to hold drinks, snacks, books, etc. Many retailers were asking 2X as much for a similar product.

This is a small footstool and thus storage space is limited. Build quality appears to be good thus far. We did add plastic sliders to the feet to make it slide easier across our carpet.

We purchased two cubes for our family / tv room area. They arrived quickly and were well packed.

The construction is solid and heavy enough to bear weight, but not too heavy for my 10 year old to move around.

Everyone loves the flip top from ottoman to table and the storage area is nice which we use for LEGO's and comforters.

More fabric choices and colors would be nice, but the microfiber is an attractive brown - no fabric flaws and is well upholstered for the money.
We would recommend this product.

This has it all. I keep my Bears' blanket stored inside for cool evenings and there's room for more.

I normally use this as a foot stool, but have inverted the top for a beverage and snack holder. Now, if it could only keep beer cold.......

We ordered this storage cube and tray to serve as both an ottoman of sorts and some extra storage. When we received the item we noticed that there were a couple of deep scratches and marks on the wooden tray. We contacted the manufacturer about a return, but as Amazon was the seller they said that they could not do a thing. Less than two weeks later the wooden try detached from the cushion and it was clear that both the materials and the construction was less than average.
While the concept is very useful for that extra lounge room storage, I would not recommend this item and highly recommend spending the extra $$ to get higher a quality item. Preferably from a store so you can put your hands on it before you buy it.

Excellent product. Multi purpose. Tray just what I needed. Good for living areas that are too small for coffee table. Padded top comfortable for putting feet on.

I bought this item as a multipurpose accessory to use in a downsized house, because it seemed like it could serve as a table or an ottoman while not needing to take up permanent floor space, and it accomplishes this nicely. The simple styling goes with anything, the extra storage space inside is always welcome, and the separate black wooden tray is a real bonus. I think this piece would benefit from casters, but I can add those myself. I recommend this item.

this item is well built as well as attractive. Heavy and well constructed. When not using the tray side, the lid fits snugly but not too tightly into the base. I'm keeping my smaller knitting projects inside. When not knitting, the lid has enough padding to be a very comfortable footrest. When I am knitting, the tray side is stable enough to keep a beverage and snack close by. I'm very happy with this purchase, and considering getting another one. The only thing holding me back is the tiny size of my living room!
