My wife and I love these things. We use them to tag and mark DVD's and CD Albums as we literally have thousands of them and without a system we would never find the movie we are looking for. We actually use a different color for the movie's genre and we also write on the labels. We also use these to mark the prices on items for garage sales; they are the ideal size for that purpose. We use a different color for different people selling something in the garage sale and it helps us to keep the money straight.

I actually stick these onto hard drives in computer builds to write which drive it is and the date I installed it. When you build a computer with 4 to 12 drives in it like a work horse computer or a large server you need this kind of data for reinstalling the drives back into the servers into the exact drive positions. It also helps you keep track of the drives when troubleshooting drive issues.

The ¾ inch round red glow dots are large enough to write some data onto them and we use a fine tip black Sharpie. From labeling bags of parts, DVD's, CD's books, or computer drives you cannot go wrong using these Color Coding Labels. The dots are more of a bright neon orange than red but they worked well for me as I can use them on a lot of projects. I love them and I recommend them to you as a great product.

I posted a photo of the different colors that we have on hand to use.

I have to admit that the color is a little off…okay, a lot off. They are a neon orange, not a neon red.

Luckily, for my purposes they are fine, but do be beware if you are looking for a red.

We bought these to help organize our office. We really liked the product, so also bought the yellow. In fact, we are now so happy with how useful they are, we are going to buy them in many colors.

The other cool use is you can draw little pictures on them and stick them on paper or envelopes.
The price is also very reasonable. Good buy, but they are not red, and that is why the 3 stars.

This was advertized as Neon Red coding labels, instead they were Neon Orange. We will use them but I feel deceived about what I ordered. I was looking for red and orange is not red. If you are looking for Red labels these are not what you are looking for.

I agree with a previous review of the labels not being a neon red color. They are more like a peach color IMO. The fault is with Avery I believe because the color of the labels received differs from Avery's own site, avery.com. The item number 5467 and the number of sheets in the sealed soft blister pack are correct. Nowhere on the package or label sheets is there any indication these labels are neon red in color.

Compared to like Avery labels I still have that are perhaps two or more decades old that are still vibrant in color and usable, the 5467 are a much different label. The old labels were paper dots mounted on a wax type paper while the 5467 dots printed onto a paper that is on a wax type paper. Magnified 15X the paper used on the older dots appears to be finer and firmer.

Cost cutting I believe or perhaps a much different company. The 5467 states on the package "2011 Avery Dennison Corporation" and "Made in Mexico". An old pack of different type of labels by Avery that I have states on the package "1978 Avery International" and "Printed in the USA".
