Best labelling package there is,
By "josefp" (Danbury, CT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Avery Laser Labels Shuttered Jewel Case Inserts with Software for CD/DVD (50-Pack) (Office Product)
This is perfect if you are into making mix cd's and data cd's and don't want to just have some sloppy sharpie marker writing on its cover. The labels are better quality than the Fellowes kit I originally bought. And the software for formatting the labels is faster and easier than that of Adaptec's Easy CD dreator and Music Match Jukebox's. I can not recommend this enough.

The Avery review states that this kit includes the "Avery(R) CD/DVD label applicator". It does not. It also states that it contains "jewel case insert labels". It does not. It has 50 CD labels & 100 jewel case spine labels only. Either they sent me the wrong item or the Avery review is from another item.

This is a great item! Especially for a small business.
I don't understand how someone complained about the lack of applicator when it says, "No Applicator Needed" in the top lefthand corner of the picture. I've used the "applicator ones" and typically didn't use it. Avery has a template that's available in Word. I got this BECAUSE it uses MS Word. It's not perfect but it is ideal. Once you figure out how it fits with your printer and make adjustments to your template, you can then share the document and everyone can use it and make changes without installing any software. I had used a competitor's product and it came with software and it still couldn't get it perfect without leaving white space in the middle and outer edge in some areas where it didn't print. It ended up looking very unprofessional and sloppy. I'd rather use too much ink than have a terrible label. My ONLY complaint would be with Amazon's picture and Description. The Description IS misleading about software and a CD but Avery has made it unnecessary. Great product and I'd get it again and again. Warning: Requires some common sense.
