I was disappointed to find that this sticker sheet is not truly clear. It has a mat finish that is like looking through frosted glass.

Also, the backing paper that is on the back of this product, causes lines to remain on your sheet once you've printed. When you apply the sticker to your item, you can still see the lines on the product you've applied it to, even after smoothing it out as best you can.

If you are using this product for printing photos on, you definitely want a crystal clear sticker sheet. I eventually found one that offered a truly clear sheet. Try going to: [...]. Item# CLPL26-1-1R is an 8 1/2" x 11" page crystal clear sticker sheet.

These are not clear. Not even close. They are opaque (and even closer to white) and not advertised as such. To me they were completely useless. Buyer beware.

I use these stickers with a color HP All-in-One DeskJet 2110, which is a very cheap printer. I bought the stickers for making my own logo mugs. I wanted something that would look good and not easily peel off. These stickers work well for that.

The colors look great on these stickers. The labels are definitely transparent so in order to use them on dark colored mugs, I did a search for Avery templates. What I found was a black background template on the Avery website. I used that for all of my dark mugs and the images look great. There is no bleed through because the colored ink is ON TOP OF the black background (and no, I don't know how this works, but it does). I didn't see any other colored backgrounds, but I'm betting these templates can be made by making an entire Word doc background that color and then pasting your image on top of it. That's just a theory, though, since I'm not sure how the black Avery background was created.

Another thing I like is how the edges of the stickers nearly disappear on my mugs. You almost can't see where the edges are. And that makes them harder to remove. I would not, however, trust these stickers in a dishwasher or even with hard hand washing. In other words, I plan to be careful with them as far as moisture is concerned.

My logos have gold, blue, gray, purple, and even white in them. If I have a complaint, it's that the ink runs until you let it set for a while on this particular paper. The Epson sticker paper seems to dry much faster or maybe not run at all. Just don't touch the ink right away and it should be fine.

But I am very pleased with these stickers over all.

I guess it's as good as you'll get for inkjet clear paper, but it's still not good enough.

The paper has a rough surface to get the ink to stick, which means the transparent part doesn't look very transparent.

Also inkjet ink will smear off it even by touching with oily fingers.

The only way to get high quality clear sticker sheets is to print laser onto Papilio sticker paper. I don't think anyone on amazon sells it though.

I ordered this product because it was advertised as clear sticker sheets and they were going to be used on baby shower invitations. These sheets are anything but sticky! After 1 day of being put onto cardstock the stickers are coming off the paper! Such a disappointment and waste of money!

I bought this to put on a glass hurricane vase for a memorial candle. It was NOT clear at all, but more like a fuzzy, hazy translucent white. I put the sticker on the candle itself (being white), and it loooks great. My biggest problem is (and the reason I only gave 2 stars)that it is stated as clear, and it is most certainly not. Other than that, it does do it's assigned purpose, but I would only use this on white items so it blends without being obvious.

great item if you are putting them on a light colored object. Bad for dark colored objects.

These stickers are definitely not clear. They have a slight frost to them. They worked fine for my purposes (I was putting them on something white) but if you're looking for something clear for a dark surface, this really isn't it. Four stars because they worked great for me but they really aren't clear.

I found these at Walmart and decided to try them for a scrapbook project I was working on. They worked great! While they aren't really clear, the matt finish made my stickers look like stamps rather than stickers on my project. The only thing I don't like is that printing on the paper more than once was difficult. I will be getting more though!

This is a good product, though it was not what I wanted. I was hoping to print out some stickers to decorate my new video camera which is a dark-ish shade of blue. The pictures came out crystal clear, which was very nice - I use: Kodak ESP 5250 All-in-One Printer - though I did have to sit and wait for them to dry or else risk smearing the ink. Then, after I cut them out and removed the backing, I was disappointed to find that they hardly showed up when I put them on my camera. With the white backing still on them, the pictures were great, but then, once removed and put on a dark surface, it was hard to even make out what it was supposed to be.

This would be great for a white background, like a wall, but anything with any color to it, you'll be lucky to see what the original picture was supposed to be. I have ordered: Avery Sticker Project Paper, White, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Pack of 15 (03383) instead because I think it'll fit my needs better. So if you're like me and wanted to decorate something colorful, go with the white paper instead of clear. You'll be much happier.
