Whether I am assembling binders or portfolios for a professional presentation or tearing out a recipe from a magazine that I want to try in the future, I always turn to Avery sheet protectors to protect pages from wear and tear and the elements. I have found Avery heavyweight sheet protectors to be the best sheet protectors on the market for the following reasons:

1) Sufficient thickness and weight: Some sheet protectors can be of such a light weight that they flop over in a notebook. These sheet protectors are the heaviest I've found. They do not easily crimp or bend when in your binder.

2) Clarity: This product is completely clear and will not distort the appearance of a document.

3) Ease of use: Each sheet protector has a slanted corner which enables the user to easily separate the halves of the protector and slide a sheet inside.

4) Acid free: You've probably see sheet protectors ruin the print on a document or lift an image. These documents will not damage your document because they are acid free. I imagine that the acid free feature would be attractive to those engaged in scrapbooking.

5) Secure: I've never had a standard sized sheet of paper fall out of one of these protectors. Once the paper is slipped in, I feel confident is is going to stay put.

While I typically purchase my Avery sheet protectors through Costco, Amazon's pricing has become more competitive for a product that I highly for professional and casual use.

This product is made in China.

Have used Avery's sheet protectors for years. They do not attract atmosphere like some other brands. And they are very clear, high-quality polypropylene (polypro is the second-best photo archival medium, behind only Mylar, which is insanely expensive and used mostly by museums).

I thought I was ordering the heavyweight, which is what I've always used. They've changed their product line, names #'s. But am glad I got these. They don't take up as much room in a binder and are even clearer than the heavier weight. Am going to also get some of the heavyweight for very special items.

Also, that much-touted feature of a slanted corner making it easier to insert papers, photos, etc.? Turns out that it is quite a good thing, very helpful.

I do 8.5"x11" scrapbooking pages and ordered these to hold the pages. They are PERFECT! The edges are completely clear unlike the ones I purchased prior. They are good quality and have innovative cut top corners to make it easier to slide the page in. Great purchase!

The quailty I have with these are excellent. Avery Heavywieght, Presentation, Diamond Clear ACID FREE, Top Loading iwth easy load angled top edge corner and three ring binder ready! I use these for 8x 11.5 photo printer prints of my artwork original master portfolio catalog of all my artwork. The acid free sheets have kept my art clear for years and are inkjet printed. The only problem I have with Avery is that they have so many different titles and jargon of the similar type sheet protectors its very confusing!
My advice to you is write the product number down or keep the empty box when you go to order again! I protect all my printed photos with these and they go fast when making duplicates that I give away with the sheet protectors. I have not used the Superheavywieght ones but these seem durable and flexible enough in a notebook and holdup well. Remmeber if you like Avery Protectors, save that product number so you don't pull your hair out trying to figure out what you had last time.

These are great. I'm using them to help organize my genealogy, so they are mostly holding two sheets of paper.

I'm not using them in a straining way, but so far none have broken. My husband and I have probably used 50 between us and we haven't had to through away any defective products.

I will order these again!

I scrapbook 8-1/2" x 11" pages - and I have tried several page protectors before these and was so glad to find them. The office supply store used to carry them in the 50 or 100 count boxes --- now they barely carry packages of 10. I was searching the internet and found a listing on Amazon.com --- for less than I could get them at Staples.com and promptly ordered a couple boxes. These Diamond Clear Avery Page Protectors are the clearest I have ever found. They have a heavy gauge of plastic - holds up to years of use. I have over 30 scrapbook binders and this is the only page protector I love using!

These Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors look like a cheaper version of the same product but do not be fooled. These Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors are strong yet thin enough to allow the words or pictures or documents shine through. I have cerebral palsy as such I can be rough on flimsy paper protectors as cheap version of this product tears with little effort. So far these Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors have been cerebral palsy caused rip proof. These Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors can accommodate two sheets of paper in one sleeve without issue if you have a printer that only does single sided output. These Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors lack the satin haze found in other sheet protectors. Finally the 200 count box insures you are not spending less by letting you buy in bulk. Again Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors are a product that live up to their hype so I must rate them 5 stars. If these Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Sheet Protectors were crap I would have surely told you so!

I have used these sleeves for years to house my ephemera collection. I can store certain antique paper items in them and not worry about things getting ruined, as long as I use an acid-free paper as a backing if needed.

I purchased THREE boxes of these protective sheets as I wanted to be sure that I had enough for the task. I was working on a very important project for one of our clients, which involved assembling photos that we had shot of defective mechanical work on his aircraft. The notebook of photos that I assembled would be used in Court - so it was important to me that I have Acid Free Heavy Weight Sheet Protectors. I THOUGHT that the Avery name would insure a great product.

When I received the boxes, I opened the first box and immediately started on my project. With the very first sheet however, I noticed that about 1/3 of each box were "spotted." I couldn't even use them! And this happened with EACH BOX. I had purchased 150 protectors and ended up needing about 125 of them. In the end, I had to use sheets that weren't as bad as the worst - but I shouldn't have had to worry about this. As it is, I'm going to return a box of them to Amazon where I have put the completely unusable ones in to return.

These were not left opened. These were used immediately during a period of 3-4 days. And this was not isolated to one box - but rather all three. The sheets that were not defective worked great, but who wants to lose 1/3 of your contents? I will not be buying Avery Protectors again!

I was looking for some not expensive sheet protectors, because I'm gonna use them for school. These ones were the best deal I found and when it arrived I was surprised with the quality.
