Very comfortable walking shoe which I would recommend. However, be careful about the size. This shoe is sized incorrectly by the manufacturer. I normally wear a mens 10. Having never ordered shoes online before I was wary of getting a shoe that will properly fit. I went to a local store which sells Avia shoes (but not this one). I tried on a couple different pairs of Avia shoes and determined that a 10 1/2 would fit properly. I ordered the Avia A333 from Amazon. The shoes arrived promptly but even the 10 1/2 was a bit small. An 11 would have been right. I decided to keep it rather than deal with the return hassle. The shoe is very comfortable. I walked miles (5+) per day wearing this shoe for several consecutive days. I only wish it were 1/2 size larger.

for the price, these shoes are outstanding for walking. They are comfortable and and fit perfectly (not always the case). I would recommend these for anyone who goes on daily walks. They are not, by far, the best but rate 4 stars due to comfort right out of the box. No break-in period. Outstanding value.

I AM 84 YEARS YOUNG. SINCE MY LATE TEEN YEARS I HAVE ALWAYS WORN SIZE 9.5M SHOES. I HAVE PURCHASED OTHER SHOES ON THE INTERNET AND HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED SHOES THAT PROPERLY FIT. I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO RECEIVE THESE A333'S A HALF SIZE TOO SMALL,BUT MARKED 9.5M. ADDING INSULT, WAS AMAZON IDENTIFYING THE PURCHASE, MY ERROR AND THE $7.05 I PAID FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING.

The shoe was obviously a half size too small. I've spent a ton of money through Amazon in the past and I'm not too happy about having to pay $4.95 in shipping costs to return the shoes because Amazon claims it was my error. Sorry, but AVIA is the one who made the error. Buyer beware!

I had been looking for a pair of black colored tennis shoes that fit comfortably and were stylish. These sneakers fit the bill nicely. I wear them for casual days at work, walking to keep fit, and an occasional light day hike. I couldn't be happier!

Very comfortable shoes. Lightweight construction. I use them for walking and I say they're very comfy. Big value for the money.

Great walking (and kickin around) shoes for my husband. He says that these are the only walking shoes he ever wants me to buy. He's a hiking shoe/tennis shoe kinda guy. I hope that Avia never stops making these shoes, as he'd be so sad
if could not keep wearing these. He says they make his feet 'happy'!

This shoe got my attention because it was the second highest rated walking shoe by the Consumer Reports (half the cost of the top rated one), and it offered a color (taupe) that is suitable even in a work environment.

Thanks to all those reviewers who complained about the size of the shoe. I ordered a 1/2 size larger and it turned out to be perfect.

These shoes are sized differently than others. I have worn size 10.5 shoes for 15+ yrs. The deivered AVIA A333 Tan walking shoes were labeled with the correct size but fit almost a full size too small. I had to return them and eat the shipping costs. Make sure to purchase these shoes a half to a full size larger than you normally wear.
