I love Avia, I've worn nothing but Avia for 15 years now. These, like every other pair of Avia I've own, fit like a glove from the start! I've never had to "break in" a pair of Avia shoes, they just fit my foot nicely. I volunteer and when I do I'm on my feet 4-8 hours and not once have my feet, ankles or legs hurt. I know this isn't true for everyone, my husband can't wear Avia and loves New Balance. Every new balance I've ever tried rubbed blisters on my heels. I would certainly buy these shoes again!

I bought these shoes twice, once for work and then since I loved them so much I bought them for everyday-wearing. They are extremely comfortable and long lasting. The sizing is also very accurate, I take about an 8.5 and they fit great! Will definitely buy these again...

I bought these for my daughter who has degenerative neuropathy. Balance and comfort are very important to her. She said that they were a bit tight at first, (she has very wide feet) but the leather "stretches" & feel great once they were "broken in". They are a bit too hot for summer (TN) because they are leather, but she "will be wearing them more often after things cool down." She does wear them when she goes to her appointments. She's pretty picky about shoes: both of us are happy. Great value and great looking walking shoe.

These shoes have the cantilever technology that provides support to help not only my feet, but my lower back. The size is true and the color is well represented. I would buy this product again.

The design of the shoe suits my tastes, and it is extremely comfortable-- with lots of cushion on the heel. However, I found them good for short term wear only. I wouldn't recommend these shoes for a walkathon, as the front part of my foot (near my little toe) started to hurt and become callused after 3 days with only ~4 hours of walking per day.

I've been wearing avia archrocker walking shoes for years. Ever since I began having falling arch problems and my heels hurt to the point of being unable to walk.

As a health care worker I had to be on the run all day, through out our hospital. I couldn't let my arches get in the way.

The concave heel and the archrocker arch support my helped make my pain nearly disapear within a month. Now I have no problems.

I walk barefoot in the house and wear my Avia 333 most other times. If I wear other shoes for any amount of time...the pain begins to return. I've learned my lesson.

I began with the old archrocker about 10 years ago when the 333 wasn't even around. The style I first used was discontinued...I complained and I imagine others have complained as well because the 333 is now touted as being the replacement for the previous style Avia archrocker shoe. I'm thrilled!

All I know is I don't want to even fool around with other shoes. This one works for me. I would suggest to anyone who is beginning to have heel pain caused by falling arches, to give this shoe a try.

The concave heel helps with the tauma of the heel strike and the archrocker in the center of the outer sole pushes the inside arch support up into your arch for the additional support needed.

This shoe is always comfortable from the first time
I put it on, and lasts what seems forever. I only order about once a year. I keep one pair to wear if I want something "nice" and rotate them buying a new pair to replace that pair when it they become the main pair.

BTW...I wear socks with the shoes and have never had an odor problem. I realize this is a personal thing though and I don't know if it has anything to do with the shoe materials or ventiltion or not. But it is the first shoe I have worn so often and so long that I haven't had a problem with odor.

Comfortable and supportive. I have found that my feet feel good when I am in these shoes. The arch support is great and just right for my flat feet.

avia makes a great shoe. i bought it in wide and didn't even need a break-in time. i did a 5k(walking!) and my feet felt great. i recommend these shoes and will buy again.

I have arch/heel spur problems and it's hard for me to find a good pair of shoes that doesn't cost a lot. So far so good those shoes are very comfy with good arch support. What I also love is that I have room for my toes.
They fit just right so if you're hesitating between a 8 and a 8.5, go for the 8.5.

The shoes have very comfortable soles and I could see where they would be great for walking or being on your feet for extended periods of time...if they weren't so wide. The toe box was just too big. I wear an average 8.5 shoe size. They fit everywhere else, but were too wide around the toes. I was very disappointed they didn't fit, especially after I read such great reviews.
