D. Ceabron Williams has always lived with companion animals and is now collectively owned by an Eclectus Parrot, a Goffin's Cockatoo, a Cherry-headed Conure, five Cockatiels, and six Budgerigars - as well as four dachshunds, and a Welsh Corgi/Yorkshire Terrier mix.
In addition to being a professional librarian, he is also a Certified Avian Specialist and a member of the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council.
He was born in the District of Columbia and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. After graduating from Divine Word College Seminary in 1979, he worked in the Hearing Impaired Program of an area high school and later taught in mission schools in Nagoya and Nagasaki Japan. After returning to the United States, he received his Master of Librarianship degree from the University of South Carolina and has been working as a public librarian since that time.
