Winner of the Gardner-Lasser Aerospace History Literature Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This prestigious award recognizes Millbrooke's book Aviation History (Jeppesen, 1999; 2d ed., 2006) as "the best original contribution to the field of aeronautical or astronautical historical non-fiction literature published in the last five years."

At a book show of the Society for Technical Communication, Aviation History won the Award of Excellence for Books, Best of Show Award for Manual/Book Design, and awards of Distinguished for Manual/Book Design and for Cover Design.

I am a pilot and had my own plane. Jeppesen is an incredible part of aviation history and without their maps and documents, modern aviation would have not been what it is today. Even today when you see a pilot carrying a black heavy case, you can rest assurred that that black case contains all the aviation charts, emergency measures and everything to keep the passengers safe.This company has won major awards in ever area of aviation. The revue before this one lists all of their awards.
The respect of this company can be compared to the awe of Charles Lindburg. If you love aviation, please read this one.
