5.0 out of 5 stars Aviation Maintenance Technician: Powerplant, January 25, 2009
This is a great series for a set of reference manuals, and the price is great as well. I have all the books and they are very handy for reading a bit to find some quick information that you may have forgotten; or even learning a little something that you never knew. They seem to be well-written and concise. For the money, the books in this AMT series are very hard to beat.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best price I could find., March 13, 2010

This review is from: Aviation Maintenance Technician: Powerplant (Aviation Maintenance Technician series) (Hardcover)
The price was the best around, I didn't need the book right away so I had plenty of time to shop around and this was the best price around for a new book, $37.77 plus shipping. I have Jeppessen AMT books and this ASA book and the ASA has far more and better illustrations, better explanations, not just whats in the AC 65-12A. At my school we can use either book and the ASA is the book of choice and is recommended by the instructor. The Jeppessen powerplant is basically a copy of the AC 65-12A, The ASA is more like a conventional text book.
