About the Author
For almost 40 years, the San Diego Air and Space Museum has preserved the aviation heritage of San Diego and the world. In this unique book, head archivist Katrina Pescador has teamed up with assistant archivist Alan Renga to share some of the amazing photographs in the museum's collection. Pescador holds a bachelor of arts and a master of arts in history with an emphasis in archival administration from California State University, Northridge. Renga holds a bachelor of arts in history from University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master of arts in history from San Diego State University. He also teaches American history at local community colleges.

Aviation in San Diego (CA) (Images of Aviation)As a visitor to San Diego, many times on the 50's and 60's, the aviation industry there has always been of great interest to me. I was expecting more detail and text. It's mostly pix and captions. A nice capsule, but leaves me wanting more!!!
