I recently purchased these brake pads and there amazing. My friend brought in his Trek 3900 for a tuneup, and they put these same brakes on the bike and I loved the way they stopped, so I ordered them for myself and there amazing. I would definitely recommend them.

Right after installing I could feel increased stopping power with less hand pressure. They did howl for the first few applications but are now completely quiet.

I bought these for my wife's second-hand bike which I am sure is not a very expensive bike to begin with. They went in just fine except that the included nut would not spin on enough to tighten the brake pads into the mounting bracket even with all of the included spacers. Fortunately, the old nut fit just fine and tightened up just like it was supposed to. Everything seems to be working fine at this point.
