I bought the 185 mm adapter when I upgraded my front suspension to a Cannondale Lefty. Take a look at the picture I posted of it installed on my bike. It doesn't look like the pressed versions shown in the group photo. It's a milled solid block with tapped holes. It looks better this way to me. The fit was perfect. Apart from that it doesn't really do anything. It just does it's job, that's it.

these work fine, but the pictures on amazon must be old because they look more square without the rounded out parts when you receive it.

I ordered this 203 post mount adapter for a 203mm rotor. I had a 160mm rotor so there was no adapter, the caliper bolted against the fork mounts. The adapter fits perfectly with Avid Juicy 5's. I put a few photos on the product page.

Note: Four stars only because the bracket does not come with the two screws required. After seeing some product photos that showed them I assumed they all came with the required screws. Make a quick trip over to Home Depot and pick up a 2 pack of M6x1.00 20mm long socket head screws and 6mm washers. Perfect fit!

FYI I noticed a significant increase in braking force going from a 160mm G3 to a 203mm roundagon. I wanted one-finger stoppies and that's what I got.

Not much to say about this bracket by itself, except that its part of what makes the AVID CPS brakes a complete, modular, adjustable, and well-planned braking system. I bought rotors and calipers from one guy, lines new from a store, levers somewhere else, and the mounting brackets from Amazon, and they all melded perfectly on my bike, exactly the way they should. No problems lining up mounting holes, screws, anything. An the CPS system (look it up on avid's website) is awesome. I can adjust the positioning of the calipers in about 30 seconds each.

What is pictured is an IS 203 rotor mount, what I received was a post 203 rotor mount. Two very differnt items. The description does state post but IS is pictured.
