There isn't much to say that isn't good about these pads from Avid. The company makes very good products as most cyclists know and these are not an exception to that rule. They stop good in wet, dry, muddy, dusty, hot, and cold conditions and have a medium amount of durability (which is just the right balance between durability and stopping force in my judgment). The pads get 5 stars.

The product description is somewhat misleading though. Amazon is usually fairly good with the technical writing aspect of their site but I guess low volume items such as this aren't given much attention. It is unclear whether you are getting one pair or two. The picture shows 2 pair (4 individual pads) and the text reads "2 Bicycle Rim Brake Pad Set" -- another unclear description.

I'll make it clear to potential buyers: you will get 1 pair.

Ordered from Amazon. They shipped 2 left pads (instead of a left-right pair).

No other problem with the pads... but I wouldn't buy them from Amazon.

I started using this brake pads just on a raining day. They worked well. It's a good product that brings security.

Very good quality pad . . . I seriously thought I was getting what the picture shows. Why would you put a picture of 4 pads and only sell 2? Oh . . .to get suckers like me to buy it! Very misleading! Not happy amazon!
