Other reviews --- pfffft
Well engineered. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. The completed console is sturdy and attractive. The packaging was slightly damaged during shipping, but no part of the assembly was affected. I was worried when I read the other review, but without cause. I would recommend this console to anyone.

Poor quality and packaging
This item arrived in a box that was obliterated at some point during the shipping process, either from the manufacturer to the retailer or from the retailer to me. It is extremely heavy and clunky metal. I opened the 80 lb box, saw the state of the product in disarray with some plastic pieces popped out and the styrofoam shattered and scattered about the product. I...

This item arrived in a box that was obliterated at some point during the shipping process, either from the manufacturer to the retailer or from the retailer to me. It is extremely heavy and clunky metal. I opened the 80 lb box, saw the state of the product in disarray with some plastic pieces popped out and the styrofoam shattered and scattered about the product. I immediately taped it back up and sent it back so, in all fairness, I can't say how it would have performed as a tv stand, but it's a serious issue if a product is such a turn off in the box that a customer doesn't even want to give it a try.
