Book Description

September 1994
When Ginny and Jim French retired a few years ago, they promised themselves that they would not fall into the "trap" that had caught so many others. To learn how to avoid the trap, the Frenches decided to ask other retirees how they had done it. The result is this series of remarkable profiles--one for every state.

This review is from: Avoiding the Retirement Trap: Fifty Profiles of People from Every State in the Union Who Are Doing Something Meaningful With Their Retirement (Paperback)
The information on this page states this book will help other retired folks help stay out of the "retirement trap." I found the book useless and didn't get one good idea. You could sum the book up in one sentence, stay active and engaged.

There were no suggestions on how to do this, just poor stories about folks who had, not what got them to the point of keeping active and what drove them to do so.
