To start with, I will continue to buy this product. Here is what I like about it:

1. It is in a pump bottle, so the product stays uncontaminated and the pump dispenses just about the perfect amount, so it is economical. (Unlike a $75 DDF pump product I used up too quickly because it pumped out about twice as much serum as I needed).

2. The consistency is more like a serum than a lotion, but is lotion-like in appearance. I have oily skin, and do not need any extra-moisturizing in my skin, because my makeup tends to slide off anyway. It absorbs quickly, and that is good because it is the first step after cleaning the face.

3. Best part: I can actually put this on the top eyelids and see a difference in about two minutes. You know how your eyes look older but you can't quite put your finger on why? It is not really wrinkles that bother me around the eyes, it is the fact that since my mid-thirties my eyes have begun to look kind of sunken in, whereas my eyes had been slightly hooded, unless I was extremely tired. When I looked in the mirror I felt like my face was not as friendly and open looking. I put this on and the skin around my eyes justs seems to revert back to where it used to be. I do wear it all over my face, but the difference that would be noticeable with a camera would be on my upper eyelids. I have the "elevens" between my eyebrows, and creases in my forehead that are somewhat better, but I would definitely have Botox there if I could. An eye lift surgery would be another thing altogether though. Eek!

I don't really notice any "cons" per say, but if you are looking for the trademark Avon Clinical cucumber-y smell, it is not here. I like it, but this has no noticeable scent at all.

oh it tightened the skin!! and gathered it into almost perfect circles of fine wrinkles in the hollows of my cheeks LOL LOL hilarious.

hmmm... maybe i should have laid flat on my back for a while to keep the skin smooth, ya think?????

It's tricky when you are choosing a cream for your face. You want something that is gentle - the last thing you would want is a red, blotchy face. You want something that minimizes wrinkles. You want something that does NOT clog your pores - it doesn't do much good if your face lotion turns you into a hive of pimples. You want your skin to look young looking, fresh looking, without being oily.

First off, I REALLY like the fact that this is in a pump design. So many face creams are in "pot" designs that were used by the ancient Egyptians. Those designs were fine for Egyptians, but in modern times they just don't work well. Even if your hands are perfectly clean, once you put your fingers into the pot and then onto your face, now you have face oils and skin bits and such on your fingers. So when you put your fingers back into the pot for the second and third portion of lotion for other aspects of your face, you are now contaminating the lotion. Yes, I suppose you could take an entire face worth of lotion onto your fingers in the first place and spread it around. However, that's really not good for your face :) You want to take the lotion out small piece by small piece, and work on one section of your face at a time. This container lets you properly do that.

The lotion has a nice, light texture and absorbs in quickly. I use this primarily on my neck area, as I want the "face lift" aspect there. Other areas of my face (my forehead etc) are more in need of a very gentle lotion that moisturizes. I am really not sure that a face lift lotion is a great idea near the eyes, for example. Something that is strong enough to do tightening / face lift activity is probably best reserved for areas that have that sort of issue. The neck and chin come to mind.

Very well recommended for that area - I've seen real improvement with my skin there.
