I found this book is very readable. It was well researched - the author's sources are all carefully listed at the back, along with each award Avril has received, 2002-2005. Avril's colorful personal and musical story (she's NOT a "bubblegum" teen singer like Britney or Xtina) includes all the musicians who worked with her on songs, her agents and critics, etc., and her personality. Careful reading will, I think, reward Avril's fans, who will enjoy "being in the know." and up to date, as I did.
