I have it on repeat.,

This is an album for waking up on a Saturday morning, enjoying a home-brewed cup of coffee while looking out the window of your Parisian apartment, observing the murmuring heads of those passing by. My favorite songs include "Quatre nuages", "Le capitaine et le matelot", and "La fille d'Avril." As a newcomer to both the French lifestyle, music, language, and culture - this album has both a spunky and romantic catchiness that makes a barely-speaking-French-individual feel wrapped up in it. If you like Alan Parson's Project, you'll probably like this album.

Great driving and contemplation music,

I first heard the beautifully exquisite Je Suis Venu Pour Elle-I came for her-on vacation in Levens near Nice, France on the car radio every hour on Cherie FM driving to Monaco and Cannes. Bought the CD and surprised my sweetie with it. The multi-instrumentalist gives a tip of the hat to Beatle Paul and solo McCartney in my favorites, Mary Quaint, and its driving orchestral segue to Quatre Nuages-four beaches. The entire work is a treat for anyone with its rocking and moving lyrics and arrangements. This is highly recommended.

It's my first CD of L.Voulzy. The music is pleasant; the melodies tend to stay in your memory. When you listen to this music you realize that it reminds you of something else. Very soon you understand that this something else is the British pop music. That is what I did not appreciate in the CD. Perhaps I am too picky in this world of globalization, but too many English words are used in the French texts without any reason. The CD's too international and commercial, too generic and not French enough to my taste.
