5.0 out of 5 stars Good job!, June 16, 2003
By bryhil_04 (Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
The album is great, so, you can have fun playing along. For guitar, piano and can be used for flute, the basics anyway. Note: There are no tabs because she doesn't using fingering, just chords. Here's a short review of each song:

Losing Grip: verse: AFGF and chorus is very fun, especially on acoustic: AEGFEG

Complicated: Fairly easy, just keeping beat is the problem on any song here.

Sk8er Boi: This is a really great song to play along with, fast-paced. For intro: DABBbA.

I'm With You: Slower song, beautiful song for piano!

Mobile: Fun, hard to keep the beat on piano though!

Unwanted: Great with distortion on the electric, obviously. Anyway, fun song!!

Tomorrow: Awesome acoustic song, you have to try this one out! Also, look for tabs for Why(off Complicated single)!

Anything But Ordinary: Good, simple!

Things I'll Never Say: Learnt this on piano, great song! It's tied for my favourite off the album.

My World: I love this song! It's my other favourite, know it on piano, and it's alot of fun. Learning it on guitar, pretty easy!

Nobody's Fool: No piano for verse, so you can sing that part, it's what I do, or get someone else too, or just keep beat with left hand. For guitar, it's very simple, follow the notes at the beginning of the song, it'll make the song more fun! Otherwise, it's just the power chords EBC#A, which get boring after a while!

Too Much to Ask For: To be honest, haven't looked at it yet, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Naked: Now,this is a good one. Especially for electric, I watched her play it live with her guitar, it's a video on www.kazaa.com, at the Nickelodeon or something, I wasn't actually there, just, you know, but it's a great song!

Definitely buy this book, it's worth all your money...It's also cheaper then other books, like Michelle Branch's because it's not tabbed!

By Eugenia (Argentina) - See all my reviews
If you like reading, and if you like Avril, this book is absolutely for you. It has the biography of this skater girl for Napannee, Canada, plus some interesting facts about her. If you want to know about Avril's life, you must have this book.
