This is the song I listen to in my car every morning to motivate myself to perform my very best at work every day. This song has me reflect on my life, after recently having open heart surgery, and has me believe this is my time to shine.
I was surprised how awesome Skillet is, but this song in particular is my personal favorite. I especially love how the male and female singer alternate throughout the song. Reminds me of the beautiful tune by Evanescence "Bring Me To Life". Overall, inspirational song!

THis song is fantastic. the violins make this heavy christian rock band sound amazing. lyrics are motivating and the dual voices between the guy and the girl are amazing.

This is a Christian rock band, and I've always liked the sound that they have. There is one advantage they have over other rock bands that I like, and that is that they have Christian related lyrics and I just love it. Just awesome!!
The drummer has the most awesome voice, she is unbelievable, and the lead singer has a great voice too, he is very good. Great band, I will make it a point to go and see them if they're ever in my area. The songs I like the best, "Awake and Alive", "Monster", and "Hero", but I haven't even heard all of the songs they have; I'm sure they have others I would like. |
