This is a fantastic book, a holistic view of the nature of the universe, the state of the world and of humanity, and of how we can best heal ourselves, and reclaim our power and our sovereignty. Cathy LaCounte identifies the ingrained attitudes and assumptions that keep us from functioning at our full potential, and how we too readily delegate our thinking and our responsibility to others, manifesting in power structures that don't have our best interests at heart.Starting off with an overview, LaCounte then goes on to identify and explain a series of disempowering memes that demonise various aspects of our lives - such as health, the earth, our own bodies, emotion, sex - and later on exposes our highly distorted view of altruism, incorporates the principles of assertiveness and saying "no", and many other concepts. Highly recommended to everyone.
