The nine volumes of the Awaken Children! series beautifully introduce Ammachi, the "Hugging Saint" of South India. You'll find many episodes from her life as well as fascinating and inspiring conversations visitors have had with this remarkable woman. She's very accurately been described as "a supernova of spirituality" and "the incarnation of unconditional love." These books are a great introduction to the woman who is perhaps the greatest living saint of our era. Very highly recommended!

All 9 Volumes of Awaken Children in addition to the 2 volumes of Eternal Wisdom should be required reading for any Amma devotee. If you've ever wished you could have been around in the early days of her life this is the closest you'll get. To be a fly on the wall during her talks and interactions with her children is the experience you'll have in reading these wonderful books.
