Kirk Schneider, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and leading spokesperson for humanistic psychology. He is the author of eight books, current editor of the Journal of Humanistic Psychology, adjunct faculty at Saybrook Graduate School, and vice president of the Existential-Humanistic Institute.

This book is a refreshing change from the simplistic self-help books glutting bookstore shelves during the holidays. In Awakening to Awe, Kirk Schneider challenges us to look at the bigger picture, to hold ambiguity and not-knowing, and to reach for wisdom instead of information.
