Author, Mary Rodwell, is a therapist and healer whose clients by their experiences and hypnotic regressions opened a new dimension to her practice. She was semi-prepared by her study of some books by several "heavies" in the ET phenomenon. Now she has joined them with her own research. Selected clients and their experiences ("Experiencers," she calls them), tell her story. Her conclusions that the Field of ET Study is fluid, constantly changing with the ebb and flow of time and experience, serves to comfort one for what he does not know, while complimenting one for what he has learned, and leaving the door open for whatever is new to come.

Her Chapter References and List of Useful Resources would keep one busy for years with reading and research. And afterwards, one would realize two things: 1) there is humility in recognizing how little one knows, and 2) there is great excitement over how much there is to learn.

"Awakening: . . ." by Mary Rodwell, leaves one with a little less to learn, well worth the read.

As a UFO/alien investigator / researcherfor over 40 years, I found "Awakening" to be a comprehensive guide for those who have had contact and or those that suspect they might have. It is simply and clearly written to give a person gentle guidance about what contact is and what one can do about it.

The author writes clearly and in a fashion to promote awareness and understanding of a worldwide phenomenon that is helping prepare people for disclosure of the fact that we are not alone in this universe. Not only does it clearly detail what contatc is like, but it details just how the contatc experience is so important as humanity is at a point where for the first time in its history it has an opportunity for "conscious" evolution or development.

The book is also very good at showing people just how they can regain the power those involved in contact often feel they have lost over their lives. It show people how to regain that power and use it as a springboard to greater understanding of themselves, who they really are and how the world is changing around us. All in all an outstanding work.

This book is more about therapy and how people with UFO or Paranormal experiences can overcome their fear and use their experiences to enrich their lives, than it is about understanding ET contact. It presents a brief overview of many aspects of these phenomena, sort of a UFO/Paranormal 101, not always clarifying the relationship between these two aspects which overlap, but are not synonymous; while always returning to the aspect of personal growth and healing. A great intro book or therapist's book, which also contains a few interesting bits for the serious UFO researcher.

A well written, well researched book on Contact and ETs in General. Well worth the read and possible enlightenment for those searching for answers.

I got DVD of 13th annual international UFO congress with Mary Rodwell presentation. She never presented a single proof to her stories which started like : "... 4 year girl told her mother that she is not her real mother that her mother in space..." and so on. No facts, names or pictures, no scientific proof of crossing facts. Instead that she was repeating after every story : "isn't that interesting?", "isn't that interesting?". - You know what? It isn't! Why? because it looked like made up. She presented kids crooked pictures as a proof of kids contact. It is so gullible!
I believe in alien's existence their influence and technology. I do not believe people who making popularity on doubtful facts.
I did not read the book I had enough of her on 1.5 hour DVD.
