Book Description

On December 21st, 2012 the Mayan calendar ended many thought that it would be the end of the world yet on that day Sebastian Ellis woke up to the usual cup of coffee and headed out to the studio to finish a painting for the art show that evening.

On his way he stops to admire the light as it reflects on the snow over the lake. Standing there on the lake he experiences something unlike anything he has ever seen before. A bright light shining around a silhouette coming toward him that takes him out of his body and unknown to him changes his life forever. The Awakening of Sebastian Ellis!

Simultaneously in other parts of the world similar individuals are having this same or similar experience.

Fast forward three years and Sebastian Ellis, a Gypsy Woman Named Romi, and a young man named Jaad, and his family are all drawn to each other through visions and signs. This is their story.

From the Publisher

"The story draws you in as it takes you to tropical islands with lush surroundings and beautiful waterfalls, it creates the hope of finding the lost city of Atlantis, and thrills you with secret plots of murder. Each chapter switches to one of the characters in a bizarre twist of writing that keeps the reader engaged and thinking throughout the story."

5.0 out of 5 stars A precious gem! November 19, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I am so glad that I happened upon this little gem. Although this is classified as fiction, it quickly becomes evident that the Author (Authors) have a deep understanding of the content expressed, making this to me a more meaningful work. I was absorbed into the characters right from the start, and it kept me hanging on until the very end. There are so many beautiful lessons found within this work, that it is one of those resources that you can turn back to again and again for inspiration. To be fair, the only negative review would apply to multiple punctuation and grammatical errors ( paperback edition), but none of which stopped me from ravaging through to the end. I would highly recommend this book for those that desire to keep tugging away at our masks of delusion. I look forward to the next episode.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stimulating February 5, 2013

This book held my interest by keeping the mind thinking. At times was a little confusing trying to figure who you were reading about. But as it all connected it all made sense.

2.0 out of 5 stars I wanted to like it, but it just didn't work for me. January 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I really wanted to like this book. The description sounded like something right up my alley. The publisher gifted me a copy in exchange for an honest review, so here goes...

It's a bit disjointed. I will admit that I didn't realize when I started the book that there was more than one author, but knowing that now - it most definitely shows in the writing and structure of the book. The common thread and writing style is sorely missing and really needed a good edit to pull it together. Several times within the first 25% I was utterly and completely lost. I had very little idea of what the heck was going on.

The thing is that it started out pretty strong. The description pulls you in and the start premise is kind of awesome too... and then it just tapers off. I loved the idea of a medical intuitive person and the play in with the Mayan calendar, etc. I skimmed the last half of it because I gave up when I realized I didn't know what was going on... and worse... I didn't care.

I give it props for the story and the thought, but the execution is, in my opinion, sorely lacking. It needs more work before it's truly publish-ready. Either that, or perhaps the darn book is just smarter than I am, eh? ;)

Honestly, I'd skip this one all together and that's tough for me to say. I really truly wanted to like it.
