This is one of the finest self-help books I have ever read. It is filled with valuable information on how to integrate spirituality,psychology and our sexuality. It has a wonderful few chapters on color healing..the best and most comprehensive I've ever read. The book has great depth and insights into the evolution of humanity and how to accelerate our own personal evolution. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to raise their awareness to a higher level of self-mastery. Very well written and every chapter is quite insightful in helping us to integrate different aspects of our personal growth and evolution.

Review of Aeoliah's Book: Awakening Your Inner Light: This is the greatest self help book. I especially found the chapters on Color Healing and the 100 Page Self-Help Manual to be very practical in helping me to become a more whole person. It was especially helpful when I was going trough the most difficult and challenging time of my life. I am very thankful to Aeoliah for sharing his deep insights and wisdom to help others overcome their deep suffering and remind them of their true essence within once these dark veils are lifted. Well now, I believe this is the first time I've read a book that seems to be about 95% commercial. There is not a chapter in there that doesn't plug one of Aeoliah's compositions. ' Maybe you'll want to listen to _Angel_Love_ to "enhance" the meditation presented below.. My CD _The_Seven_Chakras_ has vibrations in it that merge with seven of the Rainbow Rays to heal the chakras... ' Etc, Etc.

I would have preferred more meditation and less of his life story. He could have made two books out of this one- His autobiography and the reference/mediataion book. People could get more out of it that way, I believe.

He does give a meditation for each of the Rainbow Rays, plus Clear and Mother-of-Pearl. I will give him that. And if they are too long to memorise, you can order them on tape with his music in the background *hork*

I also have trouble with how he places all of the cause of problems upon the individual and their mode of thinking, denying anything like lower astral vibrations or negative entities or even karma.

He speaks about wanting to record a composition with "very high vibrational healing" and the mixing was going awful. The engineer thought it was lower vibrations, but Aeoliah "knew that there was somthing within [himself] holding it back, causing the problems. " As soon as he changed his thoughts, the mixer problems were fixed.

I have some trouble with this because I don't believe that we create *all* of our problems, but that we do do a lot to magnitize them towards us. I don't like how he perpetuates blaming someone for all of their problems as if they *chose* the problems or that there are absolutely *no* outside factors.

I think there were between 20 and 40 pages of material which was of real use- meditations, affrimations, information on the Rainbow Rays and their corresponding Ascended Masters, Angels, Elohim, and whatnot. I guess the book also looks nice, so it enhances my bookshelf but I have to dust it often because I hardly ever take it down. It would be more beneficial for one to copy the mediations and reference materials and use the book as a work of art because of the beautiful cover than to actually *read* the entire commercial.

Aeoliah is a musician and artist who was born and raised in Germany, but imigrated to the United States. He has composed albums such as Angel Love, Chambers of the Heart, and Music for Reiki. This 1992 book was awarded "Best Book of the Year" in the New Age Category by the North American Bookdealer's Exchange. He has also written a "metaphysical romance novel" entitled "The Secret Gardens of The Heart."

He wrote in the Preface, "This book was created to assist you in your journey of spiritual awakening, personal transformation, and healing... During the process of writing this book, I received many levels of self-healing and major shifts in my own conscious awareness... As the book was progressing, I began writing to my inner child, ... It was out of this growing love and union with all of life from which the vision and purpose of this book was born. At the same time, I was also healing my relationship between myself and the outer world."

Here are some additional quotations from the book:

"I do believe this phenomena (bisexuality) to be true of all beings at birth. What is natural is to love both aspects of ourself. Whether or not both of these aspects are expressed sexually later in life does not take away from the natural expression and healing of our sexual identity." (Pg. 15)
"Like most of us, I started this life as a 'victim.' It took over thirty-five years of living in a 'victim's' emotional, mental and physical body for me to experience the cruelty, brutality, violence, terror and fear of a world to which I felt no relationship... During the six major, intimate relationships that I have experienced, a recurring pattern of emotional and sexual abuse was unconsciously re-enacted, since I did not understand or have any awareness of its cause." (Pg. 60)
"Unfortunately, in our culture and society, the pure rainbow spectrum of color has been more fully integrated in women's apparel than in mens'. It is depressing to walk into 90% of men's clothing stores and to see a predominently gray, black, muddy, olive-green-brown colors on clothing racks." (Pg. 195)
"Being a professional recording artist these days requires the use of some pretty sophisticated technology. I remember starting out over ten years ago, with just very simple and basic recording equipment. Today I record my music into a computer.
