I absolutely love these 'save the world' themes, especially if our heroes have something extra like magic/ESP to spice things up. If you liked this, another futuristic romance you'll love is Janice Tarantino's "Crystal Prophecy."

Well what can I say, this was the first novel that I have read of Ms Dawsons and I was hooked onto her woork from that moment.
It is a great story that captures your heart and imagination. I loved the idea of the Dammie and how they get a second chance at what hey do best, and how the heroine has to struggle with not only living in a new town but also her heritage and her new powers. Hope you enjoy this book as well

"Awakenings" has joined my list of 5 star books. It is well written and actually has a plot. The charactors are believeable and likeable--and are presented as someone who you could know. This book has joined a favored few that I have reread a number of times. Kudos to Saranne Dawson for this book.
