This game uses the best elements of Clue, Mastermind, and Battleship (and a couple of other games I can't think of at this time). It provides lasting hours of fun and doesn't get old. My husband and I have played it every day since we purchased it. The best part of this game is that it takes away the "luck" element of other board games. It is purely a strategy and logic game.

my son & i have been battling it out nearly every day since getting this game a couple weeks ago. He's 10 and took only a couple rounds for him to "get it" - we play other strategy and logic games and this one is fresh and fun. It's a good travel game too when you don't want loose pieces like in battleship or chess.

We recently hosted a party and some of our guests played Telepathy for 2 hours straight. What a great way to break the ice! This is a very smart and challenging game. Also, we don't mind the kids playing it too. You have to appreciate wholesome entertainment that encourages them to think!

My 13 yr old daughter received this game for Christmas. We have had a lot of fun with it ever since! It reminds me of Mastermind, but is even more challenging. My only recommendation would be to purchase extra black dry erase markers. Three out of four that she received with the game didn't work. We bought some fine pt dry erase markers; they've worked well. It is a truly fun and challenging game of logic.

Telepathy is simple enough to grasp the fundamentals. Yet, it is challenging to people of all ages as you try by the process of elimination to correctly guess your opponent's secret square. Great for 2 players.

I bought this game for our kids. I agree with the amazon recommended age of 12 and up. It is a bit complicated and very logic driven. We played as teams. My husband each took a child and the competition began...
I really enjoyed it. It is like mastermind (my favorite game) but multiplied by 10. If you have high schoolers that like games and are competitive, this is fantastic. Also great for adults. Not ideal for younger kids.

Preface: Purchased for a 4th grade 10 yr old (super competitive) child and her friends.
Tip: Buy dry-erase markers, as the ones in the box are dried out and you will want to play right away! Eraser works lovely.

We played this for the first time tonight. As it is only for 2 players, for the first few times, we played my daughter (10) and her friend (11) as a team against me. If I could give this 6 stars, I would.

The game is very similar to battleship. There are 2 boards for each person, a large one and a small one. The large board is full of rows lettered A- ?. The columns are numbered 1-10. There are 9 different symbols (hearts, diamonds, circles), with 9 different colors (white, pink, yellow etc). etc) randomly placed throughout the board (think like random placement with columns and rows like a bingo card).

Example: Choose a spot, and you keep it a secret. Each spot consists of 4 attributes (1. Row 2. Column 3. Color 4. Symbol)
Team Kids - (my daughter's team) choose 1 spot, B 15 which happens to be a silver circle.
Team Mom - (me) chooses Q 18 which is a pink moon.

Each team takes turns trying to guess the other team's secret.

Team Kids asks Team Mom: Asks for a clue saying: C8 (which happens to be a blue sun). I have to look then at each of my attributes of my secret. Since I chose Q 18 a pink moon, none of the attributes match (4 attributes being row, column, color or symbol).

Team Mom asks Team Kids: Asks for a clue for M7 (which is a silver sun). Team kids looks at their secret (which was B 15 silver circles). Row M is a no, 7 for column is a no, the color silver is a yes, and the symbol sun is a no. So for the clue they would have to say yes.

We bought this for out Grandaughter for Christmas and they played this game for 2 days straight while we were there. It is really a fun game. Very sturdy pieces, would be great to travel with. Adults as well as kids will love this game.
