Awareness Exercises Where You Learn From Yourself,

I read this book in college and it had a profound impact on me. The exercises help one to get grounded in our own exploring and learning process. The exercises are simple and open ended, allowing us to learn about the inner workings of our own psychology and get healed. The book is written in the form of scripts to follow. Some are the simple playing of attention on different parts of our body. Others are about noticing how we communicate with others and how we feel. Some are designed for groups. There is an atmosphere of nonjudgment to all the exercises and the author is good about not telling you what you are supposed to discover. If you did all the exercises in the book, and they are easy and fun to do, you will be changed in a positive way.

This book was used in a theatre group in California by C.Mack Gilliand. I hadn't thought of it for a long time, and then my Yoga teacher, Rosabeth, was making c.d's for a Yoga Class and I remembered some of the wonderful mind journeys this book takes me on. So I bought the book for her.
