I would not recomend this thing to no one. It is a piece of junk. The drill is weak and the auger part was welded wrong so it doesn't work right. I was very dissapointed in this product. I would have not given it one star if I could have. Shipping from company on drill is way to much . I would return it but would still be out $50.00 on shipping.

I reread the description. Although the company was great with communication and shipment the "weed extender" and drill were missing from the order. Just received 3 items in the shipment. From the reviews about the drill it may be just as well I didn't get it.

I have nothing good to say about this product.. In the commercials it shows the person drilling holes for plants and etc standing up straight, well, it won't happen unless you are 3 feet tall..the drill did not come with it. In my post purchase research it seems the drill is not strong enough anyway.. and the weed puller is not there... I am contemplating sending it back, if I can get it back in the box.

I couldn't get the product to make a dent in the ground. I even tried after a rain when the ground was soft. I am returning the item.

I can't begin to tell you about this company and what a rip off this product is. Just DO NOT spend your money.

My mom ordered it from TV and it cost $108 shipped. We live in Hawaii but it was sent parcel post and they charged $79 for just the shipping alone. I haven't even used it yet but it is already a big disappointment. I guess they tried to make the drill look like a dewalt. It's not even close to my dewalt hammer drill as far as performance.

First off I did NOT get the drill . . . I already own a Ryobi 18V and used that along with the Awesome Auger. I live on the side of a Ridge in TN . . . Meaning TONS of clay and rocks (dead serious about BOTH) I chose to get the TWO augers (and pay the extra postage to get the extender . . . It ONLY comes if you get the extra auger!!!!!!) I have a bad back and The Claw that I have was killing my back . . . So, I thought this would be a step up and it was. After 2 solid years of working the soil (ie. Rocks and clay with very little soil) they both did break . . . But they do have a Lifetime warrenty . . . I do have to send them back and pay $8.95 for a processing fee (this company seems to make it's money on processng fees!!!) (That's why I refused to get the drill . . . Just for the processing & shipping fees . . . Just TOO MUCH FOR WHAT ONE WAS GETTING!)

I have tried many things to work on the ground around my house . . . The Claw and also a rototiller . . . NOTHING WORKED until I got the Awesome Auger . . . Now I do agree it could be welded a bit better . . . BUT IT WORKS!!!! Nothing else breaks up the clay & rocks I have . . . My house has been her 70 years and the yard has NOT been worked on until I moved here! Compact would be a perfect way of describing my yard!! Rocks . . . Are beyond abundant (Now I know why they used rocks to created my basement walls . . . They were the most abundant item around! Seriously . . . Nothing worked, The Claw is hard on ones back (mine is so messed up it is hard for me to use The Claw) and the rototiller just dinged & hopped around because of the abundant rocks (it could never dig in also because of the clay) but the awesome auger was the only thing that worked. I do wish it was made better . . . But to last 2 years through all the rocks & clay that I do have is a miracle . . . But like I said it does have a Lifetime Warrenty!

This auger works as advertised and saves some back breaking work. It speeds up planting of transplants incredibly. If you already have a hand drill (battery powered preferred), then all you nee is the auger alone. I would and do recommend this to other gardeners

Once you have used them, you just won't believe you waited so long to get them. Easy to use and does the job in a flash!

I have had my awsome auger for 3 years. I always tell my wife that it is the best gift she ever bought me. I use it all of the time. I have drilled out holes for fence posts. Mix in the fertlizer with the soil. It does it all!
MOst of the time this product does not come with the drill. SOmetimes you can get the packaged deal. I would assume it is not the greatest drill. I just use my craftmans and it works great! This is a must have garden item.
