5.0 out of 5 stars The People Helper, July 25, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Awesome Game Creation: No Programming Required (with CD-ROM) (Graphic Series) (CD-ROM)
I think that this tutorial is exelent. I am a fairly good with compuers and this book still taught me how to do some things. I like the artwork in the book. it shows me that the writer spent his time looking for and makeing it. I think that the layout is good because it teaches u in steps and still manages to have humor every now and than. By teaching in steps people aren't overwhelmed right away with computer mumbojumbo. This book lets u create games that are better than some of the games at Comp USA and u dont have to be a 3d art expert or a C++ master. By supplying the needed software for game creation and the expert knowledge and advice of an experienced, well known, game designer now an 8 year old can create a great, fully functional, game.

I dont' think the other reviewers have read this book. The book is not meant for someone who has usesed TGF for 5 years - it is introductory. There is also a lot more to the book than TGF; desing, 3d stuff.

From what I understand the version of TGF is a special version only in this book and there is a lot more to the book than TGF. I found the design portion I am still reading very useful.
