I was unfortunate enough to miss the Hole tour this year. Having had tickets to see them in NC just before they bailed off of co-headlining with Manson, I think that the live tracks here (recorded at the Australian Big Day Out Festival) are the next best thing. However, the real find on this disc may be the Ted Ottaviano Club Mix of Malibu. As a fan of Hole and a fan of club music, I was a little worried about the marriage of these two genres. I am pleased to say that Mr. Ottaviano's treatment of Courtney's vocals was not heavy-handed or muffling. This remix is interesting and fun to listen to. This is a great band and I think it's cool that this song may even reach club kids who might not otherwise have given them a listen. If you like club music and you like the band, you won't be disappointed.

Good single/ep! It starts off with AWFUL (great song) then a REALLY good live version of "pretty on the inside", lots of shrieking and its played really hard, its great, which immediatly kicks into "Heaven Tonight", cute version, then "Northern Star", which is gorgeous, when courtney sings during the bridge (it made me cry when i first heard the lyrics she sang) then "Awful" live, which is REALLY good, i love how she screams some of the lyrics "I WAS PUNK! NOW I'M JUST STUPID I'M SO AWWWWWFULLLLLLLLL!". Then a dancemix of Malibu. Which is, pretty good I guess. I mean, it would have been better if they just put another live track on, but its still pretty cool, if you like dance music. The tour booklet has REALLY great photos too! great EP

Even though I still like MAlibu better this is the hardest song on the whole "Celebrity Skin" album and the music video is excellent! I miss Hole when they were in their indie-punk days so I guess "Awful" will just have to suffice not as a punk song but more glam-power-pop-rockish. I am Hole's Biggest fan and always will be.

hole is absolutly the best band ever and courtney is the best woman rock star of them all..by far.get all of their cd's and you'll never listen to anything else.Punk Rock-candy rock-grunge!!!!I love it all.
