Editorial Reviews

Review

"If you are short on time today I will make this easy for you; there is no need to read past the next four words:
This book is great.
It is an easy read. It is full of humour, but this is a serious subject and the book tells of Marlo's journey towards that recognition. Congratulations are owed to Marlo for making it so easily readable. If she ever gives up the worlds of fashion and music she could easily make a career as a writer."
                        -Liz Burns, MS Society UK

From the Author

Thank you for your interest and/or purchase of my book.

I started writing this to explain to people who didn't have multiple sclerosis how I was feeling. But as I met more and more people with MS, I realized that there were many similarities to their story! That was when I saw that the book was also useful for some people who actually have MS.

This book chronicles my diagnosis; the time in an MS'ers life when we are saying, 'what the heck is going on?' 'Am I crazy?' Well, we are not crazy. Okay, maybe I am a little. How else could I tell strangers about my toilet troubles in the same book that I talk about my fabulous heels?

I do hope you enjoy it. Read it with a cup of tea and pretend I am sitting with you, telling what happened! Thanks again!

Marlo
ps- Some readers have asked if there will be a book 2, and the answer is yes! I am writing it now.

This is one of the best books I have ever read!! I passed it on to my Mom and she thought so too. She thinks that everyone that knows me should read it and will know how I feel from day to day with my MS. The author really put into words what I couldn't explain...Love this book....

Amazing, educational, honest, and funny book about living with a chronic illness and still being absolutely fabulous. Loved this read and have recommended it to many. Hope she writes a continuation about these next eventful years of her life with MS. What an amazing woman to share her life and very personal experiences in order to encourage and help others.

Funny. Wish it had gone further in her journey with MS. Thought her reactions to changes were real and her reactions from others comforting.
