Bought this calendar as a grab bag gift for christmas. There are some pretty funny pictures in it but i feel they had to kind of stretch to get 365 pictures to make the calendar...some are just kind of stupid and not really funny:)

Based on my enjoyment of the AFP book, which had some very funny photos/captions, my wife bought me this day calendar version. Unfortunately, the calendar is lame. I guess they had to use all of the reject photos that weren't funny enough to make the book and stick it into the day calendar. Also whomever wrote the captions on the photos showed no effort or wit! For example, here is today's caption: "close family". Save your money.

If you look at any calendar page during 2012, it should be November 7 from this calendar. A truly classic image that captures the essence of 1983.

BTW, for $153, I'll sell my copy. It's only missing one page (November 7).

There are some crazy-weird photos in here, but the captions are so lame, it takes away from anything that might be read into them. Very boring, really, and I'd be kind of embarrassed to have this on a desk at work. I have one at home on my desk, and I can't wait for the year to be over, so I don't have to stare at it anymore. Thank god I only paid $2 for mine. And the extra star is for the unintentional notepaper (blank side) that I use these for.
This is no "National Lampoon" grade tasteless photos. The group or person that writes the captions and chooses the photos needs to get inspired. Blah.

This was purchased as a stocking stuffer, and it stole the show at our family gathering! I highly recomment it.
