Editorial Reviews

German club meisters 'Bass Bumpers' have taken the crazy frog ringtone and merged it seamlessly with Axel F - the tune that uniquely represents 80s movies, the Hollywood dream and Eddie Murphy. Axel F, Harold Faltermeyer's theme tune from Beverley Hills Cop, provides the perfect foil for the 'annoying thing' and is set to have fans hopping on dance floors all across Europe. Axel Frog is the spawn of Reinhard Raith and Wolfgang Boss. Reinhard is one part of the 'Bass Bumpers' and Wolfgang is the director of Mach 1 Records (who previously worked with Harold Faltermeyer), making them the hottest dance production team in Germany. The 'Radio Edit' version of the title track is backed 'Axel F' (Club Mix) , 'Axel F' (Club Mix Instrumental) & 'In The 80's' plus an enhanced section featuring the video for 'Crazy Frog'. 2005.

A bit like this.

I you don't like that sort of thing, don't complain about it, just don't buy it, and please don't insult the people who actually do like that sort of thing.

If the cheap synths don't turn u away, then the mutant-sounding beeping will.

I've seen lots of silly and boring music videos but this one is actually really SMART! The CD is worth buying just for the video. Other reviewers have said the whole thing was just made to make money but that doesn't matter -- I think the makers of the video had a really good sense of humor and a great eye for detail. Me and my mum and dad just keep watching it and rolling around laughing at all the expressions the frog makes.

And I think I agree with my dad when he says the music is no more repetitive than other chart dance hits, and is well choreographed with the music. I say enjoy the video and the tune at face value.

The Crazy Frog is one of the cutest and funniest artists I have

ever heard of! I hear "Axel F" all the time on Radio Disney and

I just love it! This single is imported from England, and not only does it have the original "Axel F," it also has some great

remixes and the video! This is a totally worthwhile single. Although you would probably be better off getting the full CD of

Presents Crazy Hits (featuring this song), take the time out to

hear the totally cool remixes of this. "Radio Edit" is the version they play on the radio, and it is the best one on the CD

single! "Bounce Mix" is a more funky version, not as great as the real version, but still a ten out of ten! "Bounce Mix Instrumental" is pretty much the same as "Bounce Mix," but (of

course) it's instrumental. The "Resevoir Frogs Remix" is good, but could have been better. Pop the CD into your computer's CD-

ROM drive, and you'll be able to see the video, plus get artwork

from the video. I hope that you buy this album. It's worth every penny!

I liked the song and recommend it to anyone who is not easily annoyed by repetitive techno.

Axel F's song, "Crazy Frog," beat out Coldplay last year for the

hottest ringtone. Now it is on CD and constantly being played on

Radio Disney. At first I thought this song was only okay. Now I

am in love with this song! I especially love whenever they say

things like, "Let's do the crazy frog!," and "ding, ding." If you listen to this song and really get into it, I'm positive that you will like this single. Please do not say "no, this was

not helpful" because I'm a kid. Also, please don't do the same if you don't like the title of the review. Answer honestly, and

I hope that you will buy this.

"Axel F" by Crazy Frog is one of my favorite songs lately. It is

also a popular ringtone and beat out Coldplay. I hear it all the

time on Radio Disney and it is good, but slightly annoying. I can stand the radio edit, however, I cannot stand the remixes! The radio edit is the real version of the song and the best one

on here. The bounce mix is not all that great, and I say about the same for the instrumental bounce mix. The resevoir frog remix, OMG! This is just terribly awful. I do enjoy the video, however as it is just plain hilarious! Though I would say you would be better off downloading the original off of the Internet

and refraining from this CD single.

I know this CD has taken more than its share of flack. But honestly people, you knew what you were getting into before you bought the product. I you don't like that sort of thing, don't complain about it, just don't buy it, and please don't insult the people who actually do like that sort of thing. My kids adore the Crazy frog. My 7 year old autistic child actually -asks!- to watch the video. In my book, that makes the CD gold. So if you like remix and funny videos, this one's for you. If you're a diehard "don't touch the original", then it's not. Anyway, we liked it, so decide for yourself if you want to buy or not.

This is fun!Coldplay, however sing about being depressed every song and I dont know why people like it so much and hate this. The Crazy Frog is upbeat all the time and unlike Coldplay, knows how to have a good time so I suggest all u coldplay fans sit back and listen to being depressed 24/7 while everyone else will be having fun with Crazy Frog! Its annoying and it's based on a ringtone but learn to have fun and it'll make u feel better while if u listen to Coldplay and Keane you'll be depressed all the time and not even know how to have fun!OK I've made my point, have fun with Crazy Frog (And Ludacris who is fun rap) instead of being depressed with Coldplay

Usually I don't agree with the Curmudgeon, but I'm willing to make an exception (I do like Madonna, though, so this is my second exception). This is the most mind-bogglingly ANNOYING thing to ever (dis)grace the charts. My GOD! If the cheap synths don't turn u away, then the mutant-sounding beeping will. I long for the day when this evil craze is over, so music can finally take a breath of fresh air.
