I purchased this drive about 8 months ago to use as a back up for my files. I have been able to store all of my personal videos, and pictures as well as important files I have on my computers at home. If you have anything of value, you should definitely invest in a back up hard drive. Trust me, I learned the hard way. These drives are very simple to use and worth every penny for the peace of mind you will get.Review of the drive itself. I was not familiar with Axiom products until my cousin told me to purchase this one. He has them at his work and highly recommended it. The case is much smaller than I expected and quite sleek looking. I usually leave mine plugged in on its side behind my next to my monitor. It comes with some software and is packaged securely. There is a usb port and two firewire ports on the back of the drive. There is also a blue light that turns on when the drive is in use. Like I said, it has been 8 mos and I have not had a single problem with the drive. I would highly recommend this and give this 5 stars. |
