Even though this unit is nice,it has no external battery support capability. If you plan on buying this unit and only use it in the home or car, that's fine. But if you plan on using an external pack supply,(for example an Lithium ion battery pack) forget it. I was told by the company the there is NO EXTERNAL BATTERY SUPPORT, period. If I had know that I wouldn't have bought this DVD player. I've seen others in the same format that can be supported by an exteral power supply. So be forewarned before you buy, you can use it ONLY AT HOME WITH THE AC ADAPTOR OR IN THE CAR WITH THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ADAPTOR. Also you have to view the screen at a precise angle or the picture will disappear on you.I made the wrong choice.

The reviews that I read mentioned that the sound on this set was not very good, but it is worse than that: it is lousy. I gave this to my 82 year old mother for a Christmas present to replace the 4" B&W TV she keeps by her bed, but even she complained...not just about the sound, but the picture, too.
There are a number of adjustments for the picture - tint, clarity, sharpness - etc. but nothing could help get the picture to be clear.
After you've seen really great small screen lcd TVs, such as the Sharp Aquos series, you'd never be satisfied with this dog. I sent it back after a few days.
Comes in a nice carrying case, and the design is very good, but picture/sound are bad. Don't buy it.
It's too bad that it isn't better, because there are not many screens this small to chose from. Sharp does not get down to this size.

I purchased this tv to put into my home sauna. (it is behind glass to protect the electronics) Sound quality is excellent. Picture quality is excellent. It does however "ghost up" when the angle of viewing is too big (beyond 50 degrees right or left). This may however be due in some part to the glass encasement. Great product.

The picture quality is very good, the sound is acceptable. I wanted a little tv/dvd player for my office and it suits my needs and you can't beat the price!

I like it because it comes with a very nice made carrying bag. I take it to beach, picnic, and other outdoor places. I share my favorite sporting broadcast, TV program, DVD movies with my family and friends. No need to setup. I just plug and play. I start watching my favorite ball game in just a sec!

I was very impressed with this unit when I unpacked it and was immediately able to use it. I didn't think too much about it having only an analog broadcast tuner. This unit was for doting around outside and in a motorhome. Since it didn't have battery stand alone power and was only analog I sent it back. I hope they update this unit. It was well made and came with a really nice case. I thought the picture and sound was fine considering the price. Sometimes I am sorry I sent it back--but too late now. I had to pay shipping back plus a 20% restsocking fee because the unit wasn't defective which I am fine with.
