We bought this for my four year old for Christmas. I didn't want to spend a lot because I know inevitably she is going to break it. So far we have had no problems. She likes it and I even find myself using it from time to time. All in all I think it was a good value for the money.

The only problem we've encountered is that there is no way to properly turn the device off without using the remote. You should STOP the DVD before turning off the power. The only control physically on the player is PAUSE/PLAY so you have to use the remote to STOP. This is very inconvenient. The player works great otherwise.

This product is a great deal for the price... It has been working really well... Widely recommended...

I like this player, it's very portable & small... I don't have any issues with it working like I have read from other reviews. This works well for what I want to use it for. The only issue I have is it would be nice if remote control had volume control & power on & off button... otherwise good player for price, great picture quality... if you want a higher end player, you will have to pay more.

We were pleased with the product; it was as described and is very easy to use. It was shipped as promised. We will probably use this vendor again.

My son received this product as a birthday present last year... item didn't even last the full year! We knew it wasn't "expensive," so we forgave the poor sound quality that existed from day one. The picture is fine, it is light weight, but clearly not durable. We used the DVD player MAYBE ten times, if that... it wasn't dropped, damaged, etc., However, it simply DIED during use this past weekend. It was powered on, but simply stopped reading the DVD. We switched discs several times, it would start to "read" and then say no disc was inserted.

Contacted customer service... they said item needed repair and because the warranty period was over it would be a $50 charge plus shipping!!!! Yeah, right. I could buy a brand new one for less than that would be. Too bad the "sender" paid about $89 for it last year.

I do not recommend this item! Find a reputable brand!

This player is very poor quality. It worked approx. 8 hours and then the laser failed. For the price, it does not pay to have it repaired and the repair is better then 2/3 of the price to replace it.
If you want a portable DVD player, you should buy from a different company.

I purchased one and in less than a year the lens stop reading the DVD's. I called Axion and was told that things like that happen. Reggie (the Axion employee) said I could ship it back and pay $40 for labor to have it repaired or he could ship a lens to me and I could get someone to solder the lens into the DVD player myself.

After expressing my dissapointment with the quality of the product, Reggie told me that there was nothing else that could be done. I won't purchase Axion products anymore and I hope you don't waste your money like I did.

The product worked fine for about 7 movies, then it cut out last night mid movie and will not play them anymore. I should have heeded the warnings of the other buyers. This is a low quality electronic item designed to break after minimal use so you spend more money. What's worse is that even though it is still under warranty, I do not have the receipt any longer and Best Buy says they can't look up receipts on purchases made with their own Best Buy gift cards. Rather ridiculous. I don't know why Best Buy would even consider selling terrible products like this. Fixing it will cost as much or more as a replacement, which I wouldn't buy anyway. Spare yourself the disappointment and $$ and buy a player from a brand with a reputation for quality. And save your receipt! :P

This is worth the money for what I paid for the dvd player.
The picture is sharp and clear-color is great.
Sound is just fine and it plays loud when you are in a very quiet setting.
Easy to operate and if I am correct;I think the battery life is about 2 and half hours.
I love the size of the dvd player;I can slip it into my backpack along with my movies and I am on my way.
It really looks like a small black book.
