It connects as a standalone unit directly to a network, or modem, to generate images that can be viewed within a standard Web browser--from anywhere.

Unlike a simple Webcam, it includes a built-in Web server and plugs directly to a network, or modem--with no PC or additional software required. Complete with a quality lens, it can be used indoors, or installed into a weatherproof enclosure for outdoor usage.

Well, it isn't HDTV but it works and works well! You can see clearly once it is set up properly. The system installed easily and worked out of the box with no problems. The software was a bit sparce but it worked. I use it to take pictures of patients and the quality is good. Hey, it's no Mona Lisa but at least I can see which Mrs Jones is here today!

Buy it. It is good value for money.
