Product Description

This AxyGem crystallography plate is an SBS standard 96-well sitting-drop, high-throughput protein crystallization plate with 96 buffer wells (maximum volume of 250 microliter) and one adjacent protein well (maximum volume of 4.3 microliter). It is made of optically clear polystyrene to enable precise crystal visualization. The buffer well has a novel D-shape geometry located on the right, with the elevated round shape protein well located to its left. This plate can be filled manually with pipettors or with automated liquid handling workstations. The plate is sealed with commercially available clear adhesive seals, such as the UltraClear film offered by Axygen. It is resistant to organic solvents. Has reduced polarization and static. The plates are stackable with a bar-coding option. Round protein well allows easier loop access for crystal manipulation. Corning Axygen #: CP-AXYGEM-96-50.
