I first heard Aynsley Lister on a Ruf sampler CD and really liked his cut. Then I saw that he does a regular blues column in the British guitar mag, "Guitarist" (comes with CD). Liking both, I decided to take a chance on his only CD (that I could find, that is). It is pricely, but just had a gut feel about him. I was NOT disappointed! Crunchy guitar riffs, good leads, good song
writing....vocals fine, but not gritty, smokey. I also like the sound of Walter Trout, Coco Montoya, Scott Holt, Gary Moore's blues. If you're in the same place, then you might like Aynsley.

While this album isn't bad, several of the songs also exist on the Everything I Need album. I own both and in my opinion, the Everything I Need versions of these songs are much better.
