5.0 out of 5 stars The Only Sinus Spray That Worked for Me!
I've tried probably a score of sinus nasal sprays and the only one that has ever worked for me, clearing up my congestion and removing secretions and allergens from my poor beleagured nasal passages, is Ayr Allergy & Sinus Hypertonic Saline Nasal Mist. And it is relatively inexpensive compared to others and lasts for a long time. I cannot find it in stores lately and...

3.0 out of 5 stars Ayr Nasal spray
This stuff is "OK" if I am away from the house or something, but um...it's just saline solution (a salt solution), there's nothing "medicated" about it. You get the same results flushing your sinuses with salt water. Which is what I do atleast twice a day. I have chronic sinusitis and nasal irrigation is the only thing that works long term.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Only Sinus Spray That Worked for Me!, September 9, 2010

This review is from: Ayr Allergy & Sinus Hypertonic Saline Nasal Mist, 1.69-Ounce Spray Bottles (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
I cannot find it in stores lately and the allergy web sites no longer carry it--probably because they can't make a huge profit on it like they can on other ridiculously expensive nasal sprays. But the other sprays, including the homeopathic ones, help me--if at all--for up to three days and then they no longer do anything. I've used the Ayr Allergy & Sinus Hypertonic Saline Nasal Mist for a few years now and it works every time brilliantly. You go, Ayr!

1.0 out of 5 stars Formulation has been changed, October 25, 2011
This review is from: Ayr Allergy & Sinus Hypertonic Saline Nasal Mist, 1.69-Ounce Spray Bottles (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
I have used Ayr nasal gel and the spray mist for years with no adverse reaction. The formulation for the nasal mist has been changed and I will never use it again. One spray from a newly opened bottle caused me to have a burning sensation in my lungs that lasted for hours.

There has to be something more in this spray than plain salt and water, because this had never happened before.

It is impossible to contact the manufacturer, B.F. Ascher & Co. by email because of problems on their website. They replied to my hand-written letter by saying I must have contaminated the bottle before use.
