A relaxing delivery From Ayumi..., December 4, 2010

I'm quite surprised no one has reviewed this acoustic album yet. It is a wonderful collection of songs, most of them are acoustic versions to songs from the album "I Am". I don't have that album, so buying the acoustic-orchestrated version was a good option for me to have most of the songs from "I am" without getting the particular album. There are several songs here that are from "Duty" and "Loveppears", and the new versions to the songs are very interesting and relaxing.
When you think of JPop, you think of a fast-packed music with a lot of beats, so this acoustic mix album was a bit of a change, and a refreshing one.
Actually, I bought this one at YesAsia store on line, but I see the price here on Amazon is lower now than what it used to be, so you can order it from here as well. It is worth your money and the time you'll invest on it. I think it is the longest mix-album in Ayu's career, but I really can't tell because I have only this one from the Mix series. The other 5 cd's I have from her catalog are proper studio albums, and they are very good as well. In fact, this is one of the only singers I can listen to,not understand a word - but still enjoy every minute. So, if you want to get into JPop, you can't do wrong with Ayumi Hamasaki, every CD by her is a good place to start. her voice is a little bit high, but addictive, and most of the songs are catchy. I recommend this CD and any other she has recoreded since the start in 1998. Enjoy! Hope this was helpful for you.
