The latest release in the Mind Body and Soul series is Ayurveda by Composer Chris Conway and comprehensive notes about the subject by expert Dr Shantha Godagama. The tracks on this CD have been carefully created to bring balance of the three doshas. Vata music for air and space, Pitta music for fire and water, Kapha music for earth and water bring all five elements of the world together to balance the three doshas.
This CD is a perfect accompaniment to listen to at night when going to sleep as well as in the morning. It can also be played lightly in the working environment.

I say...
Wondrous relaxation music played on a huge array of instruments. An Indian feel pervades the album, though the music turns through many changes - low whistle, piano, guitar and atmospheric voice all have a chance to shine in the cosmic and aquatic soundscapes.
An album but one that can be enjoyed on 2 levels - atmospheric music to relax to, AND on another level, quality music with genuine feeling. ie not an album just for New Age fans...

About Chris Conway...
Chris Conway is a multi-instrumental wizard who has worked in many genres in music. He has released 8 CDs of songs. He is a member of world music group Jazz Orient (a.k.a. Re-Orient) who have released 3 CDs .... He works regularly with Vikki Clayton and appeared at Cropredy Festival twice.
He has worked with Monkee Peter Tork, members of Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention, Talvin Singh, Dr L Subramanium, Gavin Bryars, Llewellyn & Juliana, and many more.
