Azaléia is a Brazilian company founded in 1958 by partners Arnaldo Luiz de Paula, Nestor Herculano de Paula, Theno José Berlitz, Nelson Lauck and Arnildo Lauck. Together, they produced the first hand-crafted pairs of Azaléia shoes out of a small shoe plant that used to house a bowling alley. These are my favorite slip on summer shoes. They have just enough of a heel and I bought them in tan, black and red. Perfect for summer and work, especially since I don't want to expose all of my foot at work.
