Product Description

The 100LT system offers 63 user-selectable channels in the 794-806MHz band. Both the new receiver (100UPR) and body-pack transmitter (10BT) are housed in small 3 7/8 x 2 3/8 x 13/16 cases ideal for today s smaller digital cameras. The system comes complete with an EX-503 lavalier microphone and a special camera hot-shoe mount.

This works exactly as described in the product details. I needed a wireless mic to create some training videos, but the video camera I was using had only a 3.5mm mic input which is what this product is designed for. Many of the mics I looked at had the larger connection (which I could have made work with an adapter, but why complicate things and pay for something you don't need). This whole setup is small enough that I keep it in my little camera bag along with the camera, and the whole deal is about the size of a small lunchbox. Everything you need except the camera is included, you get the lapel mic, the transmitter, and the receiver. Ideal for mobility. Haven't tested the distance, as I use it to do videos and I'm usually within 20ft of the camera. Might work for an auditorium sound system type setup, but I think there's probably better options out there designed specifically for that purpose.
